01.Referral & Consultation
Your comprehensive care starts here. You will meet a Medical Oncologist who specializes in treating cancer with medication.

02.Pre-Treatment Assessment
Before every cycle, you will have a blood test and see a nurse or doctor. This is to make sure your body is strong enough for treatment.
- Blood tests to check cell counts
- Weight and vital signs check
- Review of any side effects

03.Treatment Day (Day Care)
You will come to our Chemotherapy Day Care Unit. Our nurses will administer your treatment while you rest in a comfortable chair.
- Cannula insertion or port access
- Treatment time varies (1-4 hours usually)
- Bring a book or music

04.Side Effect Management
You will go home with medications to prevent sickness and instructions on how to manage common side effects like fatigue or nausea.
- Take anti-sickness meds as directed
- Monitor your temperature
- Contact us if you are unwell

05.Cycle & Review
Chemotherapy is given in 'cycles' (e.g., every 3 weeks). You will repeat the assessment and treatment steps for a set number of cycles.
- Regular progress checks
- Dose adjustments if needed
- Support from dietitians

06.Completion
Finishing chemotherapy is a huge milestone! We will continue to monitor you to ensure you stay healthy.
