Knowing what to expect can help reduce anxiety. Here is how to prepare.
What to Bring
- Referral letter from your doctor
- Biopsy or pathology reports
- Any X-rays, CT scans, or MRI films/reports
- List of current medications
What Happens on the Day
1. Confirm Appointment
Bring your registration confirmation and consultation appointment letter. Arrive 15 minutes early to report at the front desk.
2. Nursing Assessment
A nurse will check your weight, height, and blood pressure.
3. Specialist Consultation
You will meet your oncologist to discuss your diagnosis and treatment plan.
